This Privacy Policy explains how Hours Tracker Time Calculator ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use the App.

1. Data We Collect

We do not collect, view, or store any of your personal information on our own servers. The App uses Google AdMob to show a banner advertisement, and the App requires an internet connection for this ad to load. To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may automatically collect limited technical information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device type, and general ad interaction data. This is described further in Section 6 below.

2. Data You Enter

All information you enter in the App — including work shifts, punch clock timestamps, hourly rates, breaks, and notes — is stored locally on your device only, using the device's local storage. We do not have access to this data, and it is never uploaded to any server.

3. Reports and Exports

When you generate a PDF report or export a CSV file from within the App, that file is created and saved locally on your device. You control where these files are shared, if at all, through your device's own share features. We do not receive a copy.

4. Backup and Restore

If the App offers a backup or restore feature, backup files are created and stored on your device (or in a location you choose, such as your device storage). We do not have access to these backup files.

5. Permissions

The App does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, or microphone. It uses internet access solely to load the AdMob banner ad, and local storage access to save PDF or CSV reports you generate.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays a banner advertisement using Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect and use data (such as your advertising ID and device information) to show and measure ads, as described in Google's own Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads on most Android devices, or Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com). This ad-related data is handled by Google, not stored by us.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If the App is used by children, ads shown should be configured as non-personalized in accordance with applicable laws.

8. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored only on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the App's data or storage from your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
